Which devices are supported?

FocusMate requires an iPhone or iPad running iOS 26.0 or later. For the AI coach, an Apple Intelligence–capable device is recommended.

Where is my data processed?

Tasks, focus sessions, habits, and coaching all run locally on your iPhone or iPad. The App does not upload your tasks for processing. Optional iCloud sync stores data only in your private iCloud container.

How does the free tier work?

Free use includes up to 10 active tasks and 3 focus sessions per day. For unlimited tasks, focus sessions, and premium features, subscribe to FocusMate Premium or buy Lifetime.

How do the free trial and subscriptions work?

FocusMate Premium includes a 7-day free trial when you subscribe to Monthly ($0.99) or Yearly ($9.99). After the trial, the subscription auto-renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions, or via Manage Subscription in the App. You can also buy a one-time Lifetime license ($29.99) for permanent access (no trial). If you already subscribe with auto-renewal on, turn auto-renewal off in Apple's subscription manager before purchasing Lifetime.

How do I restore my purchases?

Open the App while signed in to the same Apple Account used for the purchase, then use Restore Purchases in Settings. This restores an active subscription or a Lifetime license. When both exist, Lifetime is the effective entitlement.

Is FocusMate a medical device?

No. FocusMate is a productivity and wellness tool. It does not diagnose or treat ADHD or any other condition. If you are struggling, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.

Which features require Premium?

Unlimited tasks, advanced AI, body doubling, analytics, custom themes, and data export require Premium. The App shows the current list in Settings → Subscription.

How do crypto donations work?

In Settings → Support you can view address-only QR codes for voluntary crypto donations. Donations are non-refundable and do not unlock premium features; transactions occur on-chain outside the App.

How do I report a problem?

Email focusmatelabs@gmail.com with the steps that caused the problem. If the App shows an error message, include its exact text.
